Fukrey Music Review

Fukrey Music
Music Direction : Ram Sampath
Lyrics : Munna Dhiman, Vipul Vig, Mrigdeep Singh Lamba

What I Expected? : High quality entertainment!

Fuk Fuk Fukrey, is mad, insanely catchy, what with the addictive dholak beats merged with the neat electronic music along with some high energy singing from Amjad Bagadwa, Ram Sampath, Yash Divecha, and Vrashal Chavanand, builds up for a chart buster! #Repeat
Beda Pyaar is surprisingly leaps and bounds above the usual Mika club song affairs, thanks to the extremely catchy chorus and high level production quality. Tarannum Malik is perfect as the backing vocal! #Repeat
Lag Gay Lottery gets the Punjabi fusion sound right but is a nudge below the standards set by the first two songs, singing by Ram Sampath and Tarannum Malik is impactful enough though. Entertaining stuff!
Karle Jugaad Karle's predominant Indian flavour is accelerated by Kailas Kher and Keeti Sagathia, the Qawali mode executed perfectly by the apt arrangements keeping you engaged throughout with catchy hooks! #Repeat
Rabba is delightful, the fantastic layering of sounds on a folk-ish tune stand out along with some powerful singing from Keerti Sagathia, Ram Sampath and Clinton Cerejo!
Ambarsariya is just rightly made for Sona Mohapatra, seems just out of her 2007 album 'Sona', the breezy Punjabi tone set to some wonderful guitar with simple yet instantly memorable lyrics! #Repeat

Verdict : Fukrey is listeners delight! The dance tracks excels in quality, which you rarely get to hear, while the melodies are subtly alluring! Ram Sampath gets the tunes right, as he always does. Very Good effort this is. Fuk Funky Fukrey!

Must Hears! : Fuk Fuk, Beda Pyaar, Karle Jugaad, Ambarsariya

Talaash Music Review

Talaash Music

Music Direction : Ram Sampath
Lyrics :  Javed Akhtar

What I expected? : From a suspense thriller, music expectations were pretty low. But then its Ram Sampath, so, lets see.

Muskanein Jhoote Hai by Suman Sridhar is slow, seductive, meaningful and with an element of fear(really!) mixed with it, thanks to the careful jazz infused background arrangements giving a good hear!
Jee Le Zara by Vishal Dadlani works well in bringing that melancholic soft rock sound throughout the track which emits excellent doses of sadness and rage with superb slow arrangements and good lyrics giving a great hear!
Jee Le Zara Remix takes a complete transformation from the original and crafts itself in to a club song! Good hear indeed.!
Jiya Lage na by Sona Mahopatra and Ravindra Upadhyay, with the ghazalish tint semi classical fusion material is essentially a great hear where the high point is the composition and the excellent singing which has the right amount of feel and grief in it! Grt hear!
Hona Hai Kya by Ram Sampath made me remember 'Hey yeh maya' from Don 2 since both are are haunting and heroic slow moving rock songs, the former boasting of some boggling and intense arrangements and low pitched singing by Ram Sampath making a good hear!
Laakh Duniya Kahe again by Ram Sampath  is soft rock, low pitched and simple love song, agonizing and feelful which will make your head sway in bliss with the quality of Ram Sampath's singing! Grt hear!

Verdict : Talaash flies over expectations with the quality of songs exceeding expectations. Not much commercial value, but a delight for music lovers!
